Kenley Matheson: Missing for 30 Years

Still Hoping for Answers

Thirty years have passed since Kenley Matheson was last seen, but his family refuses to give up hope of finding him

Kenley Matheson was a 21-year-old Acadia University student when he vanished without a trace on September 16, 1992. He was last seen walking on Main Street in Wolfville, Nova Scotia.

The Southwest Nova RCMP Major Crime Unit has conducted several searches for Matheson over the years, including a recent search of a site on Melanson Mountain. However, no trace of him has ever been found.

Matheson's sister, Karen Matheson-Goodman, says she still believes her brother is alive. She says she hopes that one day he will be found and that his family will finally get the answers they have been waiting for.

"We just want to know what happened to him," Matheson-Goodman said. "We want to bring him home."

Anyone with information about Kenley Matheson's disappearance is asked to contact the Southwest Nova RCMP Major Crime Unit at 902-368-9222.
