2023 NCAA Softball Championship: Bracket, Schedule, and World Series Details
Tournament Overview
The 2023 NCAA Division I Softball Championship is set to take place from May 19th to June 8th. The tournament features 64 teams, divided into 16 regionals. The top 16 teams in the NCAA RPI will automatically qualify for the tournament, while the remaining 48 teams will earn their bids through conference championships.

Women's College World Series
The Women's College World Series will be held at OGE Energy Field at the USA Softball Hall of Fame Complex in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma from June 1-8. The eight teams that advance to the World Series will be seeded 1-8 and will be placed into two pools. The top two teams from each pool will advance to the semifinals, which will be held on June 7th. The championship game will be played on June 8th.
How the Bracket Works

Oklahoma's Dynasty Continues
The Oklahoma Sooners are the defending NCAA Softball Champions, having won the title in 2021 and 2022. The Sooners are looking to extend their dynasty to three straight titles in 2023.
